About me
I began my teaching career as a substitute with Denton ISD and after five years became a certified full-time teacher. This will be my 9th year teaching elementary Language Arts and Social Studies for Denton ISD. My passion is reading and exposing my students to the wide assortment of reading material available to them. Our class read-alouds often inspire my students to read another book in the series or by the same author. I work hard to help my students find books they will enjoy and read from cover-to-cover. I want them to develop a love for reading that will carry them through to their college years.
