About me
Mr. Leath spent a decade living in Latin America, growing up in Costa Rica where he received his elementary and middle school education while becoming fluent in Spanish. Prior to becoming a teacher, he earned his commercial pilot's license and worked as a flight instructor. He flew for Delta Connection before transitioning to the field of education. He began his teaching career in Sanger ISD as a special education teacher before joining Denton ISD at Navo Middle School, initially as a special education teacher and later as an ESL teacher. With nearly 15 years of experience in educational administration, he has overseen both two-way and one-way dual language campuses, as well as the Denton ISD Virtual Academy. He and his wife live in Denton, TX, where they have two children attending Denton schools.
